John Harris, prominent local landscape architect and President of the Shenandoah Chapter of the Virginia Master Naturalists, spoke on April 5, 2011 at the monthly meeting of the Friends. John developed a native plant plan for the Park’s visitor center which was partially completed last Fall and which will be continued on Earth Day 2012 – Sunday April 22 at 10am. More to follow.
