Shenandoah River State Park Junior Ranger Day Camp is open to children 7-12 years old. The four day program will be held July 30 to August 2, 2018 and repeats August 6 to August 9. Sessions run from 9:00 am to 12 noon each day. Activities are designed to enhance a child’s awareness of, and appreciation for, the natural environment. This year we will look at the watershed, go underground at Skyline Caverns, tube on the river, and learn about disposal of waste water. Each child will receive a Shenandoah River State Park Junior Ranger certificate and patch. A short awards ceremony is held on Thursday from 11:30 to 12:00 and parents are encouraged to attend.

There is a $10 fee which is non-refundable. The Friends of Shenandoah River State Park contribute the balance of program costs.
